The generation of high-quality panoramic mosaics in environments characterized by extreme and highly dynamic illumination remains a formidable challenge in computational photography and computer vision. Traditional frame-based cameras suffer from fundamental limitations in dynamic range and temporal resolution, resulting in motion blur, overexposure, and underexposure under challenging lighting conditions. Neuromorphic vision sensors, or event cameras, offer a paradigm shift by asynchronously measuring per-pixel brightness changes with microsecond temporal resolution and an exceptionally high dynamic range. However, relying solely on neuromorphic streams for dense photometric reconstruction often yields suboptimal visual quality due to the absence of absolute DC-level intensity information. This paper proposes a novel framework for exposure-robust panoramic mosaicing that synergistically integrates asynchronous neuromorphic streams with conventional sparse active pixel sensor frames. By leveraging the complementary characteristics of these two modalities, the proposed system guarantees robust feature tracking and spatiotemporal alignment irrespective of extreme illumination variations. We introduce a mathematically rigorous continuous-time warping framework designed to temporally bridge the gap between high-frequency event streams and low-frequency sparse frames. Furthermore, an exposure-aware adaptive blending algorithm is formulated to reconstruct seamless, high-resolution panoramic images while circumventing ghosting artifacts and photometric inconsistencies. Extensive evaluation on synthetic and real-world datasets demonstrates that the proposed hybrid methodology significantly outperforms existing state-of-the-art approaches in both quantitative metrics and perceptual quality. The framework paves the way for advanced perception systems in autonomous navigation, surveillance, and robotics operating in visually degraded environments.
