Abstract

Natural Language Processing (NLP) has revolutionized various industries by enabling machines to understand and process human language. In software engineering, NLP holds significant promise in automating mundane tasks such as code documentation and generation. This paper explores the various applications of NLP in software engineering, specifically focusing on automating documentation and code generation. The paper delves into how NLP can streamline the process of documenting software systems, generating code from natural language requirements, and improving overall productivity. Several challenges and future directions in this area are also discussed.
