Abstract

Digital twin technology has emerged as a transformative innovation in manufacturing and supply chain management by enabling real-time virtual representations of physical assets, processes, and systems. This paper explores the architecture, applications, and benefits of digital twins, focusing on their role in predictive maintenance, process optimization, and enhanced supply chain visibility. Key challenges such as data integration, cybersecurity, and scalability are analyzed. The study further highlights the current state and future potential of digital twin adoption in Pakistan’s manufacturing and logistics sectors, offering strategic recommendations for implementation.
