Abstract

The increasing complexity and scale of modern IT infrastructures have amplified concerns regarding data security and privacy. Ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information across cloud, edge, and enterprise systems is a critical challenge. Secure and privacy-preserving data management frameworks leverage encryption, access control, anonymization, blockchain, and privacy-enhancing technologies to mitigate risks while maintaining system efficiency. This scholarly review investigates contemporary approaches, architectural frameworks, and best practices for managing data securely in modern IT ecosystems. Challenges, performance evaluation, regulatory compliance, and future research directions are also highlighted. [1–5]
